Miracon ToughAir™ System includes:

    An air entraining chemical and system which produces a stable, more predictable air product.

  The chemical is polymer based.  This contrasts with conventional, surfactant-based entrainers.  It is not attracted to cementitious materials chemically or mechanically.  It produces more uniform spacing and reduces interference in cement hydration.  It is relatively inert, limiting reactions with other materials.

  The equipment, by virtue of its patented design generates entrained air cells under controlled condition.  In properly-designed mixes with reasonably controlled batching operations the Miracon ToughAir™ System yields consistent air content despite common fluctuation in material, environment, and handling.  The precision air and inert properties also improve cement efficiency.
